I am the Saturday night resident DJ at The Connection in Louisville, KY. I have been a DJ professionally since 1985 and have worked at The Connection since it opened on October 31, 1988. My life centers around my love for music and my three dogs Barkley, Lady, and Nina. When I'm not working or busy I like to dine out, see a movie or just relax at home.

I am what most people consider a non-traditional DJ. I don't play vinyl or CD's (although I'm certainly capable of using both). I DJ using only my laptop and mp3's.

EKS Otus DJ Midi Controller. This highly advanced controller allows me to manipulate the mp3 files as if I were using turntables.
It also allows for seamless looping, sound effects and EQ, to name a few, and works flawlessly with Traktor Pro 1.2.

Pioneer CDJ-1000MKIII CD Player. When coupled with the Audio 8 DJ soundcard below, allows for control via timecode CD's.
This is the baby that connects it all to the sound system at The Connection. The Audio 8 DJ Interface from Native Instruments.
Traktor Pro allows me to use an external mixer when paired with the Audio 8 DJ. The Rane MP-2016 allows me to have better
control of my mix.
